New Zealand Dairy Board : ウィキペディア英語版 | New Zealand Dairy Board From its formation in 1923〔(Dairy Produce Export Control Act 1923 )〕〔("Dairy Board Act 1961" )〕 until 2001 the New Zealand Dairy Board (NZDB) was the statutory board in control of the export all New Zealand dairy products. It operated through a global network of marketing subsidiaries, based in the countries where New Zealand dairy products are sold. In 2001, the Dairy Board was merged with the two largest New Zealand dairy cooperatives (which represented 96% of the industry) to form Fonterra. GlobalCo was an interim name used before the name of Fonterra was chosen. The merger required approval from the Commerce Commission, which it declined, so a special Act of Parliament, the Dairy Industry Restructuring Act 2001 was passed allowing the merger to occur.〔 ==See also==
